Our story began with a dream. Our parents—Mom from Huánuco and Dad from Lima—came to the United States chasing the American Dream, determined to share the authentic flavors of Peru with New England.
Frio Rico started humbly as a single push cart on Revere Beach, serving handcrafted raspadillas on hot summer days. As the neighborhood embraced us, we opened our first brick-and-mortar store on Meridian Street in East Boston.
Today, we reside at our permanent home on Bennington Street, where we have been proudly serving and growing alongside our community for over 15 years. Frio Rico is completely family managed and operated—a true piece of Peru you can rely on every single day.
